The Natural History Museum is conceived as a low artificial landscape within the park, its long folded roof rising and falling between the trees. Rather than standing apart from its surroundings as an autonomous object, the building extends the movement of the ground, opening toward the landscape while gathering the museum beneath a single continuous form.
Inside, the building unfolds as a sequence of large interconnected spaces, ramps and elevated paths. Exhibits are encountered not as isolated objects, but as part of a continuous spatial journey in which scale constantly shifts — from the intimate observation of a specimen to the suspended presence of an entire skeleton overhead.
The museum becomes a landscape for discovery: part building, part topography, hovering between the constructed world and the natural one.
